We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a solid work ethic. Salary Range: $30 to $40 Hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and AC failures and ability to use modern diagnostic software.
Repairs: Perform engine repairs, brake replacements, steering/suspension adjustments, clutch and transmission repairs, differential diagnosis and replacements
Maintenance: Execute routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.
Inspections: Conduct comprehensive safety and DOT inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
Documentation: Write service reports outlining the work completed and parts required.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license required (Class A or B CDL is highly preferred).
- Tools: Ownership of a standard personal inventory of mechanical tools.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or bend for long periods.
- Certifications: ASE certifications or OEM-specific training, Missouri State Inspector certification are a major plus but not mandatory.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and air brakes.
- Perform routine PMs and federal DOT inspections on fleet and customer trucks.
- Keep a clean bay—we supply shop rags, specialized heavy tools, and diagnostic software; you bring your standard box.
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
